WE ARE SKILLS” – this is the slogan of the official film to accompany the Austrian bid to host EuroSkills2020 in Graz. Success, tradition, future – these are the three cornerstones underpinning the success strategy with which Austria plans to bring EuroSkills to Graz for the first time in 2020. “We are skills”, indeed: a spirit by which we in Austria, and in the Styrian capital, have always lived to excess. Winning the bid would enable Austria to launch an ambitious future programme for skills. A programme, which will focus on meeting the needs of a new area!

Die EuroSkills 2020 in der Steiermark bieten jungen Talenten aus ganz Europa die Möglichkeit, ihre Fähigkeiten in 197 verschiedenen Berufen unter Beweis zu stellen. Das Event ermöglicht Einblicke in das österreichische Berufsbildungssystem, welches Theorie und Praxis sowie Tradition und Innovation miteinander verbindet. Durch neue Wettbewerbsformate im Rahmen von Austria Skills sollen junge Menschen dazu motiviert werden, Exzellenz zu erreichen und Lösungen für zukünftige Herausforderungen zu entwickeln.
